Dogpatch Labs is a startup hub, located in the heart of Dublin’s Digital Docklands. When speaking with Jenny, a word that came up time and time again was: meaningful. Dogpatch truly live its own ethos, so while building a community for startups, the team knew how important it was to cultivate a positive & inclusive environment for their own team.

So what could Dogpatch offer its employees that was meaningful? What felt important to people? While it also provides security for their team members, offering benefits acts as a marker for the team, a sense of achievement that they can provide more to their employees, having began their journey as a small startup just a few years ago.
'I think there's a general sense across the team that we feel really proud to have health insurance and pension benefits, and to be able to offer it to employees. What makes these Yonder products most meaningful to our team is the fact that Yonder were first our members, and now also our customers - and we truly feel proud to be investing into these startup products.'
Dogpatch has seen what works, and what doesn't work for teams given its extensive involvement with over 500+ community members and multiple startup programme cohorts. By using Yonder, Jennifer could set up her team for healthcare and retirement benefits within five minutes on our web app. We provided Jennifer with comms and support for the team so we can support and free up her much needed People Operations time for other duties.
Employees log onto a mobile app, and set up health and pension benefits within 5 minutes - without any employer involvement. With in-app support, you're never on your own trying to figure out benefits.
'What Yonder has and what brokers do not have is less stress, less time and ease of setting up. Working with Yonder has saved time across the board from a HR & finance perspective in terms of all of the research, getting set up, not having to go through a broker. It saved a lot of time for employees having to do their own research and making decisions around health insurance, but just kind of working through the app and getting that set up really simply.'
